About the artist
Heon Suk Hong 홍현숙 is a Korean artist based in Spain. She has been working for many years with two materials that she is deeply in love with, clay and Korean mulberry paper Hanji.
She studied ceramics at Francisco Alcántara Art School and Moncloa Ceramic School in Madrid, Spain, and papermaking course at School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, USA.
Working with porcelain and korean paper allows her to stay connected to her origins and craft traditions.
She has participated in various collective and solo art exhibitions and fairs.
